Date:                     Sunday, November 17, 2002.   Warm Ups: 6:45am    Start: 7:30am 

Facility:                Salem State College O'Keefe Center, 25 yard, 8 lane, 7 foot wide with non-turbulent lane lines, starting blocks, Colorado electronic timing with touch pads and full 8 line scoreboard. Seating for 250 spectators and on deck bleacher seating for 350.

 

Entry Info:            Enter all swimmers on the standard New England Swimming entry form which must be postmarked by Friday, November 8, 2002.  Mail your entry form with check to: NSSC, 19 Fenley Road, Gloucester Ma 01930. Entry Fees are $3.50 per event. Make checks payable to: North Shore Swim Club.    

 

Eligibility:            All swimmers must be 2002 or 2003 registered with USS Swimming. New  England swimmers may register with Mary Riddell, 20 Cleveland Rd. Needham Ma. 02492.

 

Computer Entry: If your team has a computerized entry system you may e-mail the entry file as an attachment to: nssc1@aol.com . Entries will be accepted on and after September 1, 2002, any entries received before September 1, 2002 will be considered received on September 1, 2002.  Insure that the team address and contact e-mail address is correct as this information will be used as your team contact and meet information. For e-mail entries, payment and hard copy must be received within 4 days of receipt of the e-mail entry. If the payment is received within 4 days of the e-mail entry, the date of receipt of the e-mail entry will be considered the date your entry was received by NSSC. If payment is not received within the 4 days, the entry will be considered received as of the date that the payment and hard copy are received

 

Cutting Meet:      If necessary, by team based on date entry received.  If more than one team's entry is received on the date the meet becomes oversubscribed, a random selection of those teams received on the date the meet is declared closed will be conducted by the meet directors to determine which teams will be entered in the meet.

 

Format:                 All events will be timed finals. 2002 USS rules will govern the competition.

 

Special                  There will be absolutely no diving during warm-ups, except in designated sprint lanes when announced. 

Instructions         Swimmers must be under the supervision of their coach.  Swimmers attending the meet without a coach should report directly to the referee.      

 

Coaches:              All coaches or team representative must get their team scratch forms at the platform on deck and return by 7:15 am.

 

Warm Up             Warm up schedule will be distributed to each team participating in the meet.

 

Directions:           From 128N take Exit 25A toward Salem (114E) Follow 114E through downtown Salem onto Route 1A (Canal Street). Stay on Canal Street 1 1/2 miles, Salem State O’Keefe Center will be on your left. Plenty of parking. Walk up ramp to complex entrance.

Any swimmer, whose entry is accepted will for himself, his heirs or executors and administrators waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages he/she may have against N.E. & United States Swimming, X-Treme Silkscreen & Design Inc, North Shore Swim Club, or any of their officers or the Salem State College for any injuries suffered by his/her at said meet.
