MEET FORMAT: The meet will follow the dual meet format of events that are listed above under "Event List". A swimmers age will be determined as of November 15th for the entire dual meet season as well as the championship in March.

SITE: The JCC of the North Shore Competition Pool is an 6-lane, 25-yard pool with six-foot-wide lanes and non-turbulent lane lines. Fully automatic Colorado Time Systems with touch pads and electronic scoreboard display. Spectator and swimmer seating on deck. Directions may be found later in this document.

COURSE: Short course yards (25 yards).

EVENTS : See attached list.

WARM-UPS: NSSC will warm up from 11:30 PM-12:30 PM. Meet will start at 12:30 PM. All NSSC swimmers should arrive and check in with the coaches no later than 11:15 PM.

SAFETY:

1.      Diving will be prohibited during warm-ups except in specifically announced one-way sprint lanes.

2.      No glass containers are permitted within the facility.

3.      Coaches and parents are responsible for their swimmers at all times.

RULES: 2005 USA Swimming rules will govern all competition. Decisions by the meet referee will be final unless a written protest is lodged within 30 minutes of the heat swum.

SCORING: Individual events: 5,3,1 and Relays: 10,6,2.

AWARDS: Ribbons for all events places one through three.

MISCELLANEOUS: North Shore Swim Club and JCC of the North Shore assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen property.

PARKING: There is ample parking available in the parking lot adjacent to the JCC facility.

DIRECTIONS: From Route 128N and 128S, Exit route 114E Salem, about three miles from that point you will pass Salem State College. At third set of lights beyond college, turn right onto Smith St. At end, turn right onto Atlantic Avenue for 7/10 mile to the Community Road on your right.
