Hello Everyone,

 

Here are some updates as of Tuesday, May 24, 2005.

 

The MIT specialty meet this past weekend was a huge success! NSSC parents, volunteers and assistant coaches did a wonderful job. You truly created an opportunity for the swimmers to swim fast and compete to the best of their abilities! The environment created is what Dan and I envisioned when we decided to host swim meets! Keep up the great work!

 

NSSC swimmers evaporated some water, they were so hot in the pool! NSSC swimmers posted over 80% best times, not including first time swims! Congratulations to everyone!

 

The following swimmers posted New England 12 and under championship qualifying times this weekend: Emma Gaquin, Maddie Huleatt, Olivia Jameson, Lexi Moroney, Dan Mock, Michael Lin!

 

The following swimmers posted New England Open Championship qualifying times this weekend: Annie Lindland, Amy O'Brien, Emily Rookwood, Lee Chaing, Stephen Chaing, Jonathan Richman, Boris Romanovsky, Taylor Wright!

 

Matt O'Brien posted a Super Sectional time in the 200 Butterfly.

 

Please remember there are no scheduled practices this Friday (5/27) through Monday (5/30). Practices resume Tuesday 5/31/05. Enjoy your holiday weekend. I hope the weather is better!

 

If you have not done so already, you need to submit a meet schedule form. All communication needs to be in writing.

NSSC Backpacks- We have 4 remaining backpacks. We will not be ordering any more backpacks until September. If you care to order a backpack, please email me. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
