1) The above link is the New Information section of the web site. Please
review for best times, 9-12 championship information, 9-12 parent work
schedule, Open information, and New Paltz results.
2) The New Paltz trip was a great success! NSSC swimmers excelled
through some new swimming experiences! We swam outdoors for the first time
this season, all swimmers did an open water lake swim totaling over 1 mile.
The kids attitudes and approach to these experiences was wonderful. The
behaved and represented NSSC with class and style. As usual, the coaches
were very proud of everyone! Thank you to all of the parents for their
support! I look forward to our next trip! Maybe Europe, somewhere????
3) Club BBQ- NSSC is finalizing plans for the BBQ. We will be sending
invitations this week via email. We will need immediate responses, once we
send, as we need a minimum of 100 persons to have the BBQ. Please decide
shortly if you will be attending. We are looking at 11.00 per person.
3) NSSC 2005-2006 registrations have been mailed. Also, all information to
register for the fall program is now on line at the web site. Please note
that registrations are due by July 30, 2005. below is the link for your

The North Shore Swim Club is proud to be
celebrating their tenth anniversary of helping children in our
communities! NSSC was founded in the spring of 1994 by Dan Warner and
Tony Padvaiskas, on the belief of offering children
a strong foundation to develop strength, character and the necessary
skills to perform to their maximum potential, while still maintaining a
positive, fun and challenging atmosphere. The North Shore Swim Club is a
fully sanctioned USA Swimming program.
NSSC works in cooperation with Gordon College,
Salem State College, the JCC of the North Shore, Minuteman
Technical School and Hanscom Air Force Base. The strong ties to these
community allows NSSC some of the finest facilities to practice.
"Since day one we have strived to work together
with the community to offer children an alternative to further their
swimming careers. We have had High School State Champions, New
England Champions, Bay State Games Champions, Junior National and
Sectional finalist. Also, one of our alumni received a gold medal in the
Olympics. We have had children move on and excel at all levels of
college swimming, including the Ivy league, Big East, Pacific Coast,
ACC, and ECAC leagues. Our coaching staff is a big supporter of the
local scholastic teams. I coach at St. John's Prep, Dan was the coach of
Salem State, Timm Heffron is the coach of Hamilton/ Wenham HS. Our
Alumni come back and help the next generation of swimmers, as we have
had dozens of former swimmers become coaches. We have had great
success, but the biggest thrill I receive is from the children who work
hard throughout the year and improve and learn lifelong lessons. They
might not be receiving all the limelight, but the are the core of our
program! NSSC has helped over 700 children throughout our 10 years!"
