Here are some updates for North Shore Swim Club, as of March 24, 2005.

 

Reminder: There is no practice at Gordon College on Friday 3/35 or Monday 3/28. The college is performing maintenance on the pool at this time. Please refer to the practice schedule online for other practice times and locations.

 

2005 Spring Long Course Meet Schedule: NSSC has posted our meet schedule for the upcoming season. Please note that we are putting a major emphasis on distance swims early and often in the season. Unlike most swim teams, we are fortunate to have access to Hanscom AFB and their 50 meter pool. This will allow our swimmers to have a chance to race distance events multiple times this season. Please take advantage of this great opportunity! Hanscom distance events are for NSSC swimmers only. ALL PARENTS ARE ASKED TO BRING A COPY OF THE MEET SCHEDULE IN TO REVIEW WITH THEIR PRIMARY COACH, REGARDING THE BEST MEETS FOR THEIR CHILD.

 

Volunteers/ Classes offered: The JCC is seeking volunteers to help with the running of their mini triathlon on May 15, 2005. They are also offering scuba, life guarding and WSI courses this spring. If you would like more information on any of these programs, please email Coach Andrew at adalton@jccns.com.

 

Clothing: NSSC has small quantities of clothing remaining. If anyone would like to order bags, backpacks, or shirts, please email. They will be given on a first come first serve basis.
