Here are some NSSC updates as of Tuesday 10/4/05.
Reminder:
NSSC HOSTED COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS
SEMINAR, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2005 AT HANSCOM AFB. 7:00 PM.
NSSC is proud to announce that we have secured David Konjoian of
Konjoian Educational services for a seminar on the college application
process. The
program will include the following: ·
SAT preparation
·
College search and establishment of a list
of schools to be considered
·
Information gathering-catalogs,
applications
·
Athletic recruiting
·
Tour and interview scheduling
·
Essay writing
·
Teacher recommendations
·
Financial aid
·
Planning internships and community service
to enhance your application further
This seminar is free for all NSSC parents and will be taking place while
the kids are swimming. We hope that this will help all parents with
high school aged children understand the complex college application
process. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Statements:
Everyone should have received their NSSC Statement as of 10/3/05. On your
statement you will find all charges and all payments that have been made to
your account, as well as session 2 payment charges. Please review your
account carefully and let us know of any questions. You have received your
statement 1 week prior to us charging your credit card based on the schedule
of statement and payment dates that is posted online. Please note that all
credit cards will be charged on October 10, 2005. Please review the online
schedule.
Equipment:
NSSC will be returning leftover paddles, suits, fins to Metro Swim Shop at
the Halloween Classic, next Saturday. If you have not done so already,
please make a time to pick up your equipment.
Swim Lessons:
NSSC has space available for the upcoming SwimAmerica Swim lesson program at
Salem State College, beginning October 25, 2005. Please tell anyone that is
interested to contact coach Dan!
Practice reminders:
Please remember that there is no practice at the JCC on Wednesday October 5,
2005 and Minuteman Tech on Monday, October 10, 2005 due to holidays. Please
double check the practice calendars!
If anyone is interested in baking for the Halloween Classic please touch
base with coach Tony!
