Hello Everyone,
Here are some NSSC updates as of Tuesday April 3, 2007:
NSSC Distance and Specialty Meets - Saturday April 7, 2007:
1) Entries for both, the distance meet and specialty meet are posted.
Changes need to be emailed in writing by Thursday April 5, 2007. Any new
swimmer that is entered with a "No Time", but has times from high school or
previous swim teams is asked to provide them to Coach Tony by Thursday, as
well!
2) Parent work schedule for the Specialty meet is posted. Parents are
reminded that we need help while your child is swimming. Distance swimmers
need their own timers and counters. Anyone interested in donating baked
goods is asked to contact coach Tony.
3) Distance Meet:
Events 1-4: Warm up 8:00 AM, Meet starts @ 8:45 AM. Swimmers should be at
the pool by 7:45 AM
Events 5-8: Warm up no earlier than 9:30 AM , Meets starts 20 minutes later.
Swimmers should be at the pool by 9:15 AM.
4) Specialty Meet: Warm ups are at 1:00 PM, Meet starts at 1:45 PM.
5) Volunteer Officials Clinic: There will be a starters clinic at 10 AM on
Saturday for veteran officials. There will be a stroke and turn clinic at
1:00 PM for parents interested in becoming a swimming official. Both clinics
will take place at Salem State College during the swim meet! Anyone
interested in attending either clinic is asked to contact Cirstin Newland at

Long Course Meet Schedules: Are past due! We will be doing
meets for May and June shortly, please turn in your meet schedules!
NSSC Clothing Available: NSSC has backpacks, duffle
bags, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and size 11-13 fins in stock. All are first
come, first serve. Please contact coach Tony for availability! We will also
have remaining supplies available at the meet!
