Here are some NSSC updates as of Wednesday, July 25, 2007:

 

1) 2007-2008 registrations: The 2007-2008 registrations have been emailed and posted online. Please make sure to check the program that has been selected for your child for next year. 2) OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS- Harvard University July 27-30, 2007: All swimmers need to be at the pool on Friday morning at 7:45 AM for warm up. On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, swimmers will be required to be at the pool 60 minutes before they are scheduled to swim. Please confirm with Tony or Dan each day. We will not be following the designated warm ups on those days.

 

We have parent timing obligations for the weekend. Please check in with Carol O'Brien, so we can fulfill our obligations, and spread the timing around.

3) NSSC REMAINING PRACTICE SCHEDULE: The schedule for practices is correct. Please note that we do not have practices scheduled Friday, July 27- Monday, July 31. We will resume practices on Tuesday August 1, 2007.

 

4) Sectional Championships: Congratulations to all the swimmers who competed in Maryland this past weekend! NSSC had our first Sectional Champion- Matt O'Brien 100 and 200 Butterfly! We swam best times across the board and the men's 400 free relay re-qualified and placed 17th! Great job! The swimmers really would like to get more kids qualified for next years meet in Long Island!
